Poetry, Prayers & Memories

Eres Books is proud to announce the publication of our most recent book, Poems, Prayers & Prose,  by a veteran Army nurse. As part of our Veteran’s Words project,  we present these thoughtful and thought-provoking poems, prayers and memoirs by this faithful and dedicated American veteran.

Maxine V. Dillahunty began her career as a nurse in the United States Army, serving at Walter Reed Hospital in the mid 1950s.

Several of her poems have appeared in the magazine, Christian Woman.

After her time in military service, Maxine continued her nursing career in private practice, eventually specializing in geriatric care and attaining the position of Director of Nursing of several Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Her poetry is personal, yet has the universally human touch instinctive in the creative heart.

Poems, Prayers & Prose is available in digital and print formats on Amazon.
